HIGHTSTOWN, NJ - New Jersey porn powerhouse Pleasure Productions has updated its website to provide a friendlier face to its customers.
"We've always had the Pleasure store," web designer Chris Hoffman told AVN.com, "but we had no content for the front end." That changed at last week's re-launch. The new site has movie reviews, a Pornstar gallery, and streaming videos in Windows Media format.
Hoffman single-handedly built the new entryway in two months, then put the fetal site on an in-house staging server for three weeks and gathered feedback from Pleasure employees before going live. "You can't launch without notes," he said.

And the feedback paid off. "The old site looked like an old-fashioned website of the early '90's," admits publicist Mitch Mitchell," but this one is easily navigable and user-friendly."
Hoffman has built a Pornstar Gallery, which includes pictures and profiles of Pleasure Girls and non-Pleasure Girls alike. He will be adding to it regularly. In addition, he plans to employ new media formats, like QuickTime, to handle streaming video.
"The previous site was just a splash page; this is the first time we have content," he said. "We've gone from nothing to something."

Hoffman works for Effex Media, which is Pleasure's Internet arm and the company which handles the company's large affiliate program. Another employee of Effex Media is Horny George, who will provide movie news and commentary on the adult industry.
Of Horny George, Mitchell remarks, "He loves porn. He would probably do the job for free."
