Heaven Leigh writes in about the story of her and Candy Hill calling in to KLSX mentioning the Metro vacation.

Leigh: "Hi Gene its Heaven Leigh about the Metro deal. I was out of town on the first casting call so I called Metro and asked since I couldn't be there and would like to go what I could do to be able to go. They said just drop by with some pictures and talk to us about it. Well I went by there on Tuesday because I have to work Wednesday and may not be able to make it there today. Hopefully I can, however, I went by to let them know I was interested just like they told me to do. He didn't have any contracts there for us to sign however, now they know we'd like to go.

"That's why we went on Tuesday and not the day it was scheduled. I realize they had a another casting call on Wednesday but when you have to work you do what you can to work things out. So I guess because I had to do things a little ass backwards that makes me a retard. Oh and I'm sure all the people listening to the radio not in porn knew the casting call was on Wednesday, right? That's why I wasn't particularly concerned about explaining why we were going the day before. The only reason we even mentioned it was because we heard they were giving free tickets away to the vacation and thought it would be nice to mention that we may be going."

Gene sez: "Heaven, probably everybody in the whole wide, wonderful world, outside of Sam Rubin, knew about the Metro casting call being on Wednesday because they obviously read geneross.com"

[Gene sez: Here's the blurb Heaven was commenting on: "Local Los Angeles TV personality Sam Rubin was substituting as a radio talk show host Tuesday afternoon and doing a topic about unusual bachelor parties when he got a call from Candy Hill and Heaven Leigh. Identifying themselves as porn stars, Hill and Leigh told Rubin about how they entertained a guy recently at the Bunny Ranch with a threeway. Rubin seemed neither particularly conversant about the Bunny Ranch which he had never of, nor Hill and Leigh. Hill and Leigh talked about representing positive images for the fans so that they didn't think porn stars were "retarded". Hill and Leigh capped off the conversation by saying they were off to the "studio". Amused, Rubin asked where and what for. "Metro," said Hill. "We're signing up for the adult vacation." Someone might have informed Hill and Leigh that sign-up day at Metro was Wednesday - just so that they wouldn't appear retarded."

Mad Jack writes: Back in Vegas after a VERY successful trip. Senneca forgot to mention that last February, for three shows, she was a Motley Crue dancer. She was spotted at "Showgirls" in Saskatoon, Saskatchowan by the lead dancer for their tour who was looking for a temporary replacement for an asian girl who had to run off for the Madonna tour... Needless to say, Senneca got the job and performed for five songs a night out-of-this world costumes along with one other girl.. She's a big part of the live video they shot for world wide release this Christmas. I think I've got Matt Zane beat with this one Gene, what do you think? Take care."

Gene sez: "Yeah, but are you playing the Whiskey? Just as a reminder to one and all Matt Zane's Society 1 performs live tonight at The Whiskey A Go-Go at 9:00 pm, 8901 Sunset Boulevard. This is the only L.A. show during their 1999 North American Tour. Be sure to arrive early. For more information, please contact the Zane offices at (818) 772-9510.

She was mentioned, in passing, in the story about Senneca posted earlier, but Dave Cummings has a word or two to add about Katya. Cummings: "I 'gotta' tell ya, Gene, if the Brad or George from Danger Boy Video ever tell you that they have another hot new girl, ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE THEM!! Thanks to them, Katya came to San Diego yesterday for a couple of scenes for my Sugardaddy and Sex Fun series----she was one SIZZLING HOT woman! She was totally into not only the sex, but also the foreplay and afterplay. On top of that, she's a super-nice all around person (she's actually a Russian Pediatrician, one who yesterday attended to my geriatric sex needs). Her photos from the shoot will be on davecummings.com in a few weeks! Dave Cummings"

Gene sez: "Hopefully, if all works well, Katya's interview will be on my site tomorrow."

Mike South mike-south.com writes: "HyGene a few days ago Kid Vagrant was making noise about hiring me as a P.A. Tell him I decided I'll take him up on his offer, my rate is 10 thousand dollars a day plus expenses, paid in advance, of course. Hell we will test Pat Collins theory that any moron off the street can direct good porn. I'll see if I can teach Kid Vagrant how to do it."

Gene sez: "One question, Mike. If you subscribe to the prevailing wisdom that any moron off the street can direct good porn, and you can teach Kid Vagrant how to do it, then what does that make you? Besides how can a man of your talents sell out for a mere 10 thousand a day."

Starnet Auctioning Off Porn Websites

In the wake of a police raid on its corporate headquarters last week, the Vancouver-based Starnet Communications has put its 61 adult Internet websites up for sale.

The company said the divestiture will allow Starnet to focus all available resources on the further development of its core Internet gaming business. Starnet will proceed with the sale through an auction process, it said.

Last Friday a team of almost 100 Canadian and U.S. police officers swooped down on the company's offices and the homes of its senior executives. The search warrant alleges violations of the Criminal Code, regarding both the distribution of pornography and gaming. Starnet has strongly denied any wrongdoing

As the planned auction was announced, other Vancouver-based Internet gambling firms had this to say.

Poker.com Inc. said it "is not associated with nor does it have any affiliation or business relationship with Starnet Communications or its officers and directors." Also on Monday, IGN Internet Global Network Inc. said that "it has no involvement with Starnet in any capacity and never has."

Millville Video Pleads No Contest in Cincy Trial; Cops Pledge More Vigilance

In a little less time than it took for the Larry Flynt trial, Millville Video Inc. pleaded no contest to charges of it being guilty of pandering obscenity.

A jury was seated, but before the trial could resume for its second day Tuesday, the corporation pleaded no contest to pandering obscenity, stemming from selling the videos Agony of Arianna and Man Maid.

Butler County Common Pleas Judge Matthew Crehan found the corporation guilty and fined it $5,000. Tuesday's action came after a lengthy meeting outside the courtroom, before the videos were to be shown to the jury.

Defense lawyer Louis Sirkin said the plea agreement made sense for the county and for his client.

"Now we know there's a type of videos that has been ruled to be obscene, and we're certainly going to keep our vice operators looking for them on the shelves of these stores. Now we have teeth," said Butler County Sheriff Harold Don Gabbard.

Butler County Assistant Prosecutor Dan Gattermeyer said the case, "sends a message that Butler County does not want that stuff here."

"We think this is a big victory," he added. "It's been a long, hard process that we've gone through."

Several opponents in Judge Crehan's courtroom for the Millville Video trial were clearly pleased with Tuesday's outcome.

"The judge knows the truth," said Phyllis Stewart, 61, a Hamilton woman who is a member of the group Citizens for a Safe Community. "When he said it's obscene, I just wanted to jump up and down. That's our belief."

Cincy Preps For More Obscenity Busts; New Ordinances Planned

With the Cincinnati Reds having just dropped two important games to the Atlanta Braves, the natives are obviously getting restless. Hence, Hamilton County prosecutors are once again investigating a possible obscenity case involving a local video store.

Prosecutor Mike Allen, who headed the Larry Flynt trial team, confirmed that his office is reviewing seven or eight sexually explicit videos to determine whether they violate community standards for obscenity.

Allen said law enforcement officials turned the videos over to prosecutors several weeks ago after purchasing them from a Clifton store. Allen wouldn't name the store, but hinted there aren't many in the area that sell explicit material.

According to a story in the Cincinnati Enquirer, the owner of Tip Top on Short Vine said he suspects his store is the target, even though he has not heard anything about it from authorities.

"We're the only place in Hamilton County doing this," said Joseph Neuhaus the owner. "Unfortunately, they are probably talking about our store." Neuhaus said his store sells several explicit videos, which he describes as "mainstream" pornography. "We're doing everything legal," he said.

In other Cincinnati porno news, advocates of an ordinance to regulate sexually oriented businesses in Kenton County are trying to get approval for the measure from Kenton County Fiscal Court on Sept. 7, after making several changes to ensure that it withstands any court challenges.

"The citizens of Kenton County should not be asked to subsidize a business with proven harmful effects," said Kenton County County Commissioner Barb Black, who proposed the legislation. Black, who proposed regulating sexually oriented businesses, said that communities across the nation have found that sexually oriented businesses lead to blight and decreased property values, contribute to the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, and increase crime, illegal drug use and prostitution.

The proposed changes include: Lowering the proposed licensing fee for operators of sexually oriented businesses from $1,000 to $725. The licensing fee for employees also would be lowered to $500; requiring anyone with any interest or ownership in a sexually oriented business to pay the licensing fee; adding more specific terms in several areas to better define what constitutes a sexually oriented business or unlawful activities.

"There is some case law where the amount of $725 has been upheld in the (U.S.) 6th Circuit (Court of Appeals)," said Kenton County Attorney Garry Edmondson. Edmondson said the licensing fee is necessary to help cover the costs of monitoring sexually oriented businesses, and responding to problems resulting from such establishments.

Kenton County Commissioner Dan Humpert said he would like a better definition of employee. "Do we define employees as dishwashers and cleaning people?" Humpert asked.

"We've had evidence in Northern Kentucky about negative secondary effects," Attorney Edmondson added. As an example, he cited prostitution's harmful effects on Madison Avenue businesses. When legitimate business owners complained that the illegal activity was hurting their businesses, Edmondson said, he worked with a Covington Police Task Force to drive away prostitutes.

Ban Sought on Animal 'Crush Videos'

Crush videos which apparently sexually arouse the viewer by watching women smash rats and other small animals with their feet, is arousing the ire among California lawmakers and animal activists who are calling for a ban on the videos.

Sale of the videos, primarily on the Internet, is a worldwide business, according to Ventura County District Attorney Michael Bradbury.

Speaking at a news conference, Bradbury was flanked by poster-sized photographs taken from videos that showed women's feet in platform shoes or stiletto heels, apparently crushing rats and other rodents.

"Put a stop, won't you, to crush videos," said actor Mickey Rooney, an animal rights activist. "What are we going to hand our children? This is what we're going to hand down, these videos, crush videos? God forbid." No comment from Rooney about the crushing effect of eight divorces.

According to Elton Gallegly, R-Simi Valley, state animal cruelty laws outlaw the making of such videos, but prosecution is difficult unless producers are caught in the act. A proposed federal law would target distributors," he said. "It clearly is one of the sickest and most demented forms of animal cruelty that I've ever been exposed to," he added.

Jeff Vilencia of Lakewood, whose Squish Productions has made crush films of insects, said he doesn't plan to resume production until the controversy is resolved. Vilencia estimated there were fewer than 1,000 crush fetishists worldwide, based on his Internet contacts.

During a year-long probe, an investigator went into Internet chat rooms to try to obtain crush videos worldwide. The probe led to animal cruelty charges against two people who are scheduled for a preliminary hearing tomorrow, said Carol Rash, a Los Angeles County prosecutor.

If convicted, they could face more than four years in prison, she said.

Coincidentally, foot fetish porn producer Mark Archer shot a scene in his vid, Barefoot Confidential where Roxanne Hall and Avalon squoosh earthworms with their bare feet. Archer was asked whether he thought he had contributed to earthworm abuse or the sudden spate of crush videos.

Archer: "Someone set me an article last year. There was a big bust in Long Island, New York. Some freak was doing these videos with turtles that were being crushed. This guy got arrested on 88 counts of cruelty to animals. That was last year, but I don't know what's with Mickey Rooney all of a sudden."

G. Ross: "I don't know. I got a feeling you started this trend with Barefoot Confidential."

Archer: "Actually, I took inspiration. I saw stuff like that on the Internet. The scene, I did, by the way, I want to note that all those worms were destined to be bait. I figure they got off easy. Some got crushed and the rest got set free. They came out ahead of the game instead of as fish food."

G. Ross: "Maybe you should have had a statement saying no worms were hurt in the making of this video."

Archer: "I did that. I said at the end of the video that only a couple of worms were killed and the rest were set free in Rob Black's rose garden."

[Gene speculates: "Does this make Black accessory after the fact?"

Archer says he's being approached by people whether he knows, personally, where to get a hold of the crush videos. He says he doesn't.

Beatles Imitator Charged In Sex-Abuse Case

A Beatles impersonator has a court date tomorrow on charges that he had sex with a 16 year-old girl at a "Beatles Fest" several weeks ago held in a Chicago suburb

David M. Justice, 35, was charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Justice appeared Monday in the Rolling Meadows branch of Cook County Circuit Court, where he was ordered held in lieu of $25,000 bond.

Prosecutors said Justice met the girl, a resident of Ohio, about a year ago at a Beatles nostalgia fest in Dayton, Ohio. Justice had performed there with his band, which mimics the famous British band of the 1960s.

Justice and the girl kept in touch by telephone and e-mail, authorities said. Justice was arrested Saturday night after authorities allege he had sex with the girl in his hotel room at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, where Beatles Fest was booked for the weekend.

Authorities did not say, specifically, who Justice had been impersonating. The suspicion is, had it been John Lennon, Justice could also be up on technical necrophilia charges.

Gene sez: "Anyone who's had sex with William Shatner impersonators at Star Trek conventions are urged to write-in with their stories."

Curveball 99 Hitting a Home Run

It's not even Sunday, but it looks like Rayne's Curveball 99 Softball benefit in Long Beach is already going to be a huge success.

Rayne will have over 30 porn stars participating in the charity softball game benefitting a number of good causes, including a group called Self Awareness of Disabled Americans.

"Janine will be pitching," Rayne says. Other Vivid girls will include Raylene and Sky. "I've also got 10 former NFL players," Rayne added. [We'd give you the names but the attempt at spelling would be a miserable gesture of football ignorance. Suffice to say, Don Edwards from the Pittsburgh Steelers is one of the safer offerings.]

Rayne said she also got a last-minute confirmation from Houston. "It's coming along beautiful," she adds. "The jerseys came in today. They go to print tonight. Great Western Printing will have the programs ready on Friday. It's very exciting...the attendance is just remarkable. One of the stores called me and said they were out of tickets. I re-stocked them. I had tickets available in six stores - all the Touch of Romance stores; the Tender Box in Hermosa Beach and Spanky's in Anaheim. The after-party is going to be incredible as well. The after party is pre-sale only. They can't buy tickets at the door. They'll be some available at the game."

Gates at Blair Field [corner of 7th and Park in Long Beach] open up at noon for the fans.

Serenity on Good Day LA

Wicked Pictures' Seth McCoy notes: "Hello Gene. In case you missed Good Day LA this morning Serenity was on during the 7:00 hour. Tony McEwing, one of the anchors, saw Serenity during a segment Fox did about Erotica LA, he made a few complimentary statements about her and so one of the shows producers and I came up with a way to get Serenity on the show. Basically we had Serenity woo him with photos, movies and such. As luck would have it Tony celebrated a birthday about two weeks ago so I had Serenity fax him birthday wish. It was after the birthday fax that I got the call from my producer friend telling me that the Executive Producers loved the idea of having her on the show. They arranged for Serenity to do her live remote at Bodies in Motion in Santa Monica. She was on for a few minutes and everything went great."

We're Not Retarded

Local Los Angeles TV personality Sam Rubin was substituting as a radio talk show host Tuesday afternoon and doing a topic about unusual bachelor parties when he got a call from Candy Hill and Heaven Leigh. Hill and Leigh capped off the conversation by saying they way off to the "studio". Amused, Rubin asked where and what for. "Metro," said Hill. "We're signing up for the adult vacation." Someone might have informed Hill and Leigh that sign-up day at Metro was Wednesday - just so that they wouldn't appear retarded.

Black porn performer Andy Lace came to the attention of NBC's EXTRA recently by virture of the fact that she was at the AIM benefit last week.

Mariam Davis of Extra wrote to say that Davis was interviewed at AIM. "I think you should watch it as this new black porn girl is not only attractive and bright but her ability to communicate is incredible and from our research into her by talking to her peers she is one of the best new black talent to come along in years," Davis said.

Turns out that Lace is repped by Reb Sawitz. "Andy Lace is one of my girls," says Reb. "She a 40 year-old Afro-American lady who's so fit, that I wouldn't mind being her, but a male version. She goes to the gym. She's really in shape. She must do a million sit-ups. She's got a six-pack stomach. She's got a boob job. Everybody's had nothing but the nicest things to say about her." Reb says he's repped Lace about six months. Lace came in via an ad. "She a real sweet person. She dresses well. She speaks well. She's a pleasure," Reb said.

Reb says he's also repping Annie Anderson, the lanky blond porn star who's back in the business after some past dealings with John T. Bone put her out of sorts. "She came back. Right off the bat she asked me if I dealt with him. I said no. She said good. She was here a couple of months ago. She went home to make some money in a bar she was dancing at. She's supposed to be coming back."

John McCann writes: "Gene, any truth in Asia Carrera breaking one of her taboos and gettin it on with Sean Michaels in his new 'Rock your Ass' series??"

We talked to Michaels and he confirms that he's been trying to get in touch with Asia along with a few other girls whom he's not yet worked with. "We're trying to make that happen," Michaels said. "It seems like something she's interested in from what I hear. Tom Byron told me to give her a call because he worked with her and it really helped his series."

Michaels is getting ready for the East Coast Video Show and the IA 2000 along with having a new site ready to launch, shortly -smpinternational.com. Michaels says he's been putting a lot of effort into that particular project the last couple of months. Michaels' Rocks That Ass 4 also will be released by the end of this month. While he's in Miami for IA 2000, Michaels said he's going to try to shoot some stuff for a new Sean Bond series. "I always had this thing for Bond, and right now in my career, it's a perfect vehicle," Michaels said. "We've got some decent writers, and we're trying to get a feature out before the end of the year." Michaels says he might also venture into Costa Rica if time and money allows. "I'm trying to do a Thunderball kind of situation. Something different." Michaels said he met with Playboy last week and they were interested in his stuff. "The talks seem to be going quite well. I only have one movie right now in a cable version, that's Ebony Erotica. That market is very small and hard to get in, but once you do, it's a good place to be."

Michaels said Carrera would be particularly good in the Sean Bond vehicle that he's trying to put together. "I want to have that international flavor, and she would be perfect for one of the characters."

Sasha Gabor had planned to be out of the country on a business trip by the end of August. No such luck. Sasha would have been better off if his name was Zsa Zsa. It seems that Sasha was taken into custody last week to serve out time to honor a previous DUI ruling. "He had not served a full sentence," a friend, who did not wish to be identified, said. According to Gabor's confidante, Sasha had conferred with an attorney who would have swung a home-detention as an alternate to his sentence, but Sasha couldn't come up with the full amount to pay him to keep up the process of trying to get a continuance. Sasha, according to his friend, could be in Men's Central Jail for at least six months. In the mean time, the friend said Sasha has been assigned a public defender at the Van Nuys courthouse. "But they don't have the experience," the friend said.

Midnight Film and Video Signs Senneca

Mad Jack is no longer mad. In fact, his former business partner is rumored to be bussing tables at a casino in Las Vegas. But that isn't why Mad Jack's smiling or why he's in town. Jack was squiring his discovery, the new Midnight Film and Video contract girl, Senneca. "How could I be mad with that smile and giggle?" he asks. She's a house dancer/lap dancer for a club [The Sundowner] on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, but Jack discovered Senneca while she was in Las Vegas, briefly, dancing at the Olympic Gardens. Though a full-blooded Cree Indian, Senneca pronounces her "o's" like a goalie on the Toronto Maple Leafs, thus the giveaway to her origins.

"I can't see the difference," she giggles. "It's just when you guys talk." Bear in mind that Senneca's an inveterate giggler which automatically makes her a great audience for tired shtick. Senneca was roaming a casino when man-about-Vegas, Mad Jack approached her with a business card and asked if she did any modeling. Senneca says she gets approached a lot like that. "I hear that a lot. Yes, of course, but I don't pay any attention to that," she says. "There's so many of them that say that, especially when you're working in the clubs." Jack says nine out of ten women tell him they get asked that question all the time. Senneca says the selling point to Jack's opening line was the fact that she wasn't working in a club, but in a casino losing money. [Losing money always puts me in a mood.]

G. Ross: "Did you tell her your name was Mad Jack then produce a gleaming knife?"

Jack: "I told her I do a lot of photo-stuff, a lot of Internet fetish-stuff. I don't just come out and say I do hardcore. That doesn't work really well. I told her she had a serious future if she wanted to do some modeling with me."

Senneca: "I was familiar with the porn girl/feature dancers. I pretty much knew where he was coming from."

Jack: "It's always nice to back up what you say with a few credits. Let's face it, I haven't produced a whole helluva lot in the last six months, but I got six or seven shows out and boxes to show."

"I saw her and said she's the one," Jack recalls. "She's got the look." Senneca just did a shoot the other day with a new Russian girl. "She hasn't done anything, either. She didn't speak any English," Senneca says. Mad Jack says the shoot was for one of his Mad Jack Productions for Midnight. "It's a Senneca movie, it's a Senecca Goes West kind of thing."

Jack said he brought Senneca to Vegas to shoot and had been telling K. Beech about her. "I e-mailed some shots and said, look, you gotta grab this girl," Jack said. "She's exotic. There's not a lot of exotic women in the biz. I knew Kevin [Beech] needed someone for Midnight, so that's what I brought her out here for, basically. I figured I had one scene to fill this last picture anyway, so I decided to go ahead and grab this Russian girl and throw her into it - Katia - brand new, she's from New Jersey. She just came out here."

Senneca notes that Katia's on a student visa. "She's a nice girl, but because of the English barrier, direction was really hard," Jack said. "It took quite a bit of time to shoot. I used Dave Hardman. He's a gas."

Sennecas says Hardman is "hilarious". Senneca said she's a single-mother, that her daughter is 16 months old. Senneca's also got it figured that she'll move out to the west coast in the middle of her contract. "Once I get some stability, and I can support my daughter" she adds. A girlfriend from high school kind of talked Senneca into lap dancing. "I tried it. I loved it," she gushed.

Mad Jack says Senneca was first going to use another porn name, Tequila Sunrise.

Jack: "I thought Senneca was a good name because the Senneca tribe is from upstate New York which is right close to Niagara Falls."

G. Ross: "God forbid it wasn't the Onondagas, look at the name she would have had."

Senneca almost fell on the floor with the unexpected Indian humor. Jack says Senneca's deal is six features over the next year. "We're also going to get her [feature] dancing off the ground."

Look for her first release around November.

New Frontier Media Announces Lawsuit

Boulder Colorado-based New Frontier Media, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOOF), reports that it has been sued in federal court in New York by Greenwood Partners and Generation Capital Associates, an entity controlled by Frank Hart. The lawsuit is in connection with New Frontier Media's previously announced warrant redemption of August 13, 1999.

On August 13, New Frontier announced that its Registration Statement had been declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission which would allow warrant holders to exercise their warrants and receive shares of the Company's common stock at a price of $6.50 per share through the close of business on Friday, August 27, 1999. Any warrants which weren't exercised by August 27th would be redeemed at $0.05 per warrant. New Frontier Media intended to use the proceeds from the exercise of the warrants for working capital and for the continued marketing and distribution of its TeN(TM) and Pleasure(TM) cable/satellite networks.

In an update, however, New Frontier Media states that, at the request of the Court, it has extended the period during which it will permit the exercise of its Warrants from Friday, August 27, 1999, until the close of business on Friday, September 3, 1999, to permit the judge assigned to the case to return from vacation. The extension will also permit the New Frontier Media to prepare a counter claim against Greenwood.

New Frontier says it believes the Greenwood lawsuit to be completely without merit and announced that it would vigorously defend any challenge to its right to redeem the warrants claimed to be held by the plaintiffs. New Frontier did not go into any detail about the Greenwood suit filed against them.

Last week New Frontier announced it signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Interactive Gallery, Inc. (``IGallery'') and Interactive Telecom Network, Inc. (``ITN''), and 90% of Card Transactions, Inc. (``CTI'') for six million common shares of New Frontier Media, Inc. (``New Frontier Media'').

The transaction is subject to shareholder and regulatory approval.

IGallery, a leading aggregator and reseller of adult content via the Internet, maintains a consumer membership base of over 85,000 monthly revenue generating subscriptions to its owned and operated web sites. In addition, Igallery provides hundreds of thousands of pages of adult content to thousands of the largest adult Web sites. IGallery is also one of the largest acquirors of adult traffic with a variety of consumer level and web-master level marketing programs.

New Frontier announced that IGallery has recently implemented new technology that will allow video streaming at a rate of 10 to 15 frames per second compared to the industry average of three to six frames per second. At bandwidth rates a consumer would get with high speed Digital Subscriber Line (``DSL'') technology, the rate increases to approximately 30 frames per second, or near film quality. ``This is a meaningful step into Broadband delivery of adult content which complements efforts already under way by New Frontier Media,'' said Mark Kreloff, chairman and CEO of New Frontier Media.

According to New Frontier Media, IGallery also has a specialty department, HitWerks, which develops new technologies and methods of targeted traffic generation. These efforts have resulted in record monthly subscription levels to Igallery's sites.

"Our engineers are continually working on new ways to exploit the power of the Internet in a way that will translate into increased traffic, greater customer retention through enhanced customer service efforts and high-quality content delivery,'' stated Gregory Dumas, President of IGallery.

As part of the acquisition, New Frontier Media will acquire 90% of CTI, a start-up e-commerce solutions company. CTI provides the technological infrastructure, merchant account management and electronic credit card transaction processing necessary to transact business over the Internet. Card.com is the name under which CTI will offer its branded e-commerce solutions to companies transacting business over the Internet.
