Heatwave Video owner Gabor Esterhazy told AVN.com that consumers would begin to notice significant changes in the company's line of products beginning this month.

Esterhazy said he has made key improvements in production, marketing and sales during recent weeks as Heatwave Video revamps its image. The 15-year industry veteran has hired new directors, green-lighted a handful of new series and turned his focus to hard-edged content. Heatwave's videos now will include more anal, d.p.'s and A2M, more scenes and have running times up to 140 minutes. Esterhazy told AVN.com he refuses to allow Heatwave to be a "mediocre" company that is just part of the vast porn pack.
"I want to be up there. I want to be one of the best," Esterhazy, who founded Heatwave 12 years ago, said Friday. "Change is always good. The general public will really feel the difference starting this month, and we have a lot of good movies in the can."
Esterhazy is poised to debut several new titles under the high-end Heatwave Platinum banner. It will release Monique's Sexoholics, the directorial debut of Monique, on Tuesday. Monique's Sexoholics features a stellar cast that includes Obsession, Kitten, Promise, Ice, Angel Eyes, Lil Asss, Sam and of course, Monique, who appears in multiple scenes.
"I've known Monique for a long time," Esterhazy said. "She came to me in Las Vegas and wanted to do a line, so I gave her a chance. I see big potential. She is an excellent actress, and she always has good energy. I'm happy with her so far."
Heatwave will also release the new Platinum titles Pull My Hair and Call Me Stupid, Anal Divas in Latex and Brown Sugar, which is directed by Dale Jordan and will hit the street May 27. Skyy Jolie, Promise, Soleil, Jada Fire and Lil Asss perform in Brown Sugar.
Meanwhile, Pull My Hair and Call Me Stupid is a six-scene, all-anal, hair-pulling fuck-fest from director Jim Powers that stars Ashley Blue and Ashley More. Anal Divas in Latex, which is also a Powers project, has three d.p.'s and three anal scenes, Esterhazy said.
Some other upcoming Heatwave releases include Thick and Black 14 (June 3), Gangsta Bang 6 (June 10), Ghetto Ho's 2 (June 17) and True College Girls (June 24).
Esterhazy praised his fresh, young sales staff that is led by Agnes Czapla, who came from West Coast Productions, and John Florian, who most recently worked at Eurotique Entertainment. The owner revealed he is also developing an interracial line called Lovin' the Big Black One. That title will be released in July along with the 15th edition of Powers' Kelly the Coed.
Heatwave, which does simultaneous VHS and DVD releases, places a special emphasis on capturing interesting behind-the-scenes footage and interviews for the DVDs, Esterhazy added.
