Ninn Worx contract starlet Heather Vuur was revealed as the Penthouse Pet of the Year for 2007 at the Goin' Deep Super Party on Saturday in Miami, Florida. Vuur received her Penthouse Key during a live Pay-Per-View event, featuring Snoop Dog and 25 Penthouse Pets.
"This is really a nice surprise," said Vuur. "I hoped that I would be the Pet of the Year, but there were so many beautiful women in the voting that I knew it was equally possible for one of them to win. It's been a great year for me, with my Ninn Worx contract and the attention that Sacred Sin got from the awards committees, my nomination for Best Actress from AVN. . . . I am sort of overwhelmed in a very happy way."
"Heather being chosen as Penthouse Pet of the Year didn't surprise me at all," said Ninn Worx CEO, Michael Ninn. "The camera loves her. She sparkles and there is no way to deny that. From the moment that I laid eyes on her, I wanted to shoot her. I knew Heather was destined to be my contract girl, and was very pleased when she accepted my offer."
"The Penthouse Pet of the Year has numerous duties to perform, such as personal appearances and promotional radio and television events, so we must take every aspect of her personality into consideration," said Penthouse CEO Marc H. Bell. "There are other factors in the choice of Pet of the Year, beyond her popularity and beauty. Heather fits all of those qualities extremely well."
Vuur is still officially under contract to Ninn Worx, with Heather currently scheduled for release in May. She will resume shooting for Ninn Worx as soon as her Penthouse duties allow. She will also be changing her name to Heather Vandever for all future Ninn Worx titles.
