Four-year old affiliate program Hawgs Cash will be closing its doors June 22 because of 2257 regulations, a move co-owner BossHawg has been contemplating for some time.
“I didn’t feel it was worth the man-hours to become 100 percent compliant, to be honest,” he tells AVNOnline.com.
Hawgs Cash was looking at the prospect of having to redo almost all of their tours and all of their banners.
“That almost equals starting a whole program from scratch. If I wanted to start a program from scratch now I would do it with all-exclusive content and spend my energy on something more along the lines of today’s trends,” BossHawg says.
When the program officially closes, member’s areas will stay online, but tours will disappear. Hawgs Cash has a deal in place with AdultPlayersClub.com so that all traffic, with link codes, will forward to a related AdultPlayersClub.com site.
Meanwhile, the crew has been focusing on expanding their resource site PornResource.com and getting FreeEzineBucks.com and FreeTicketCash.com, their email programs, 2257 compliant.
“We will be around for the long haul. We just have to change with the times,” BossHawg says.
