Hartley, Spears to Enter Hustler Hollywood Walk of Fame

Larry Flynt has announced the induction of adult film stars Nina Hartley and Randy Spears into the Hustler Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at the Hustler Hollywood store in West Hollywood.

Dozens of adult celebrities, as well as Flynt, will be in attendance.

Hartley, whose career has spanned over two decades, is one of the most enduringly popular stars in the history of adult video. She has performed in 600-plus video and film titles in addition to making thousands of personal appearances during her tenure in adult.

“I am pleased and honored to be inducted with so many of my friends,” Hartley said. “It’s been very rewarding to entertain and enlighten for the last 20 years. I thank Larry Flynt for the opportunity to come out and have a good time on Thursday.”

Hartley, whose Nina.com is a popular and highly trafficked adult site, continues to star in and produce a wide range of adult videos. Currently, she is working on a book, “Nina Hartley’s Guide to Total Sex,” to be published by Avery Press in early 2006.

“The book is a comprehensive guide to everything I’ve learned about every kind of sex,” Hartley said.

Spears, meanwhile, has appeared in over 2,000 adult videos, making him one of the most prolific performers in adult. He has always been in demand for both his acting and his performing abilities since his debut in the 1980s.

“I feel extremely honored to be inducted with my friend Nina. I thought I had achieved everything, but this award is the icing on the cake,” Spears said. “If it wasn’t for Larry Flynt and Hustler, we wouldn’t be here in the first place.”

Spears' credits run the gamut from New Wave Hookers 2 to Misty Beethoven: The Musicalto countless contemporary gonzo videos.

“I’m still in great demand and I’m working as much as I want,” Spears said. “This might be my last year, but we’ll see.”

“When I first came into this industry, I was an out-of-work actor and I thought I’d do one or two XXX movies to get through the writer’s strike,” Spears said. “The directors saw I could perform as well as act, so I stayed. I have made so many dear friends — it’s been a pleasure to work with so many talented people.”
