Uber-publicist Harry Weiss has been in the adult industry for a decade, but it wasn't until Digital Skin decided to create an interactive DVD that he was given his first shot at directing.
"This is my first directing gig. I've produced a few movies before, but this is my first time producing and directing," Weiss told AVN.com. "I'm incredibly pleased with the result."
Weiss prepared for the project by viewing what others in the interactive field had done. He made a long list of things that he wanted to do that he didn't see other companies offering. After meeting with his DVD authoring company, he cut the list down to a size that could fit on the DVD. The result is My Play Toy featuring both AVN Best New Starlet nominee Aria and T.J. Hart.
"I wanted to break new ground here. Everyone uses one girl. What if you are tired of that girl? What if you want a threesome. I wanted to explore that," said Weiss.
Viewers of the DVD can explore it too, by taking advantage of one of Weiss' innovations - the Insta-Switch, a command that allows users to instantly switch between Aria and Hart during a scene. "The switch is seamless," attested Weiss.
Another special feature is the Bukkake Button. When selected, the girl the viewer has chosen is sprayed with cum from five different directions. "In the end they look kinda like a glazed doughnut," said Weiss.
My Play Toy also includes a unique and entertaining trailer, great behind-the-scenes action, interviews and tease sequences.
Danny Quinn, CEO of Digital Skin, beamed with delight: "I'm very excited. This is the first two-girl interactive DVD that I know of and I love being the first kid on the block with something truly unique."
Weiss is currently shopping a comedy porn script that he has written that he wants to direct. Weiss is planning on casting Lexington Steele in the lead role.
