HOWARD UNDER FIRE OVER KID SEX

The feds may want some answers from Howard Stern again - but this time, it isn't because Humble Howard went a tongue too far. This one could spell real trouble for the porn jock: a conservative family group is turning up the heat over whether a convicted child molester admitted on Stern's radio show that he failed to register as such under Megan's Law.

The American Family Association says CBS attorney Stephen Hildebrandt acknowledges the Los Angeles U.S. Marshal's office, the New York offices of the Secret Service, and other federal law enforcement investigators, want to know who and where the man is.

The AFA, a longtime critic of Stern, is also demanding CBS, which syndicates the Stern show, to drop it. CBS chairman Mel Karmazin was unavailable for comment when AVN On The Net called him Feb. 11, but his secretary suggested CBS was previously unaware of any AFA protest over the Feb. 2 edition of The Howard Stern Show.

On that show, Stern introduced the man as a member of the North American Man/Boy Love Association, a group which advocates free sex between adults and children. The AFA says a Miami attorney, Jack Thompson, contacted the New York Administration for Children's Services after the man, identified only as Randy, apparently admitted on the Stern show Feb. 2 that he is a convicted child molester and showers regularly with his nine-year-old stepson.

The AFA says the man admitted on the Stern show to spending time in prison for molesting a ten-year-old boy, but he also said he was "cured" and credited Stern with helping him turn his life around. He also is said to have "shared his wish" that he, his homosexual prison partner, and his stepson could go to a New York Yankees baseball game together.

"This man admits to spending a lot of time with his son's little league baseball team, which he said excites him sexually," Thompson tells the AFA's Web site. He adds Stern and CBS could both be liable if the man commits any future sex offenses, if they withhold information about him from authorities.

Stern won the AVN Special Achievement award in January, but he sent a midget to accept the honor at the Adult Video Awards ceremonies in Las Vegas.
