HOUSTON, WE HAVE NO PROBLEM...WITH DVD

The Houston 500: The World's Biggest Gang Bang III is set for videocassette and DVD release this month, says Metro Global Media, the film's distributor, while its star is not exactly resting at that.

The film will be issued on standard videocassette 23 August, says Metro's sales department, although previous press notices indicated a July release. The DVD version is due out at the end of the month.

It stars Houston taking on a reported 620 orgiastic partners in an event which was uplinked live via the Houston 500 Web site. Metro also says a commemorative magazine will be available on North American and European newsstands soon.

Meanwhile, Houston herself has kept busy since The Houston 500, with successful appearances at the 1999 Adult Expo with three other Metro stars, and an unlikely prom date appearance while touring to publicize the video. An appearance on The Howard Stern Show prompted an 18-year-old Staten Island, NY student to call Stern asking that Houston be his senior prom date - which she accepted, prompting syndicated television show Extra! To air two stories and Tonight Show host Jay Leno including a joke about it the night before the prom during his monologue.

Houston is also reported to be negotiating with producer Jellybean Benetiz, credited with launching Madonna's singing career, for a CD of nightclub dance music which Metro says she's calling "very sexy." The deal reportedly will include music videos to promote the songs.
