HOMEGROWN VIDEO GOES WEB

Calling itself "the world's most famous amateur video series," Homegrown Video is finally going web, the company says.

Chief executive officer Moffitt Timlake says that, after "unscrupulous webmasters" and two court trips to get their domain name back, the company decided to produce a Web site by itself.

"(This) gives us complete control over the purity of content and the regularity of updates and adding new sections," he says. "We're no longer at the whim of some webmaster who does updates when he feels like it and doesn't bother to send us our profits."

With user-friendly formatting and good content rather than flashy graphics, the company says, Homegrown (www.homegrownvideo.com) wants to keep its reputation as the premier amateur adult video producer intact and growing. The site now features a large photo gallery with fifteen different categories, with new photographs added every week and updates to other features like erotic stories, jokes, fan letters, and streaming video.

Stefanie Histed is the new webmistress.

New features will include "Homegrown Heroines," which the company says was created after one fan wanted photographs of a favourite Homegrown performer; and, a "Before They Were Porn Stars" section of photographs featuring various Homegrown stars before they went on to careers in professional adult entertainment and film - including Anna Malle and Stephanie Swift.

"Homegrown Video is certainly a gift horse as far as content is concerned," says New Destiny Internet Group, who built Homegrown's streaming video programming. "As the world's oldest and best-known library of amateur sex content, Homegrown…represents a veritable bottomless pit of content."
