SAN FRANCISCO—Good Vibrations on Tuesday announced a new corporate giving initiative, GiVe, and partnership with the American Red Cross to help bring relief to Haiti disaster victims.
Good Vibrations for over 30 years has partnered with hundreds of local and national non-profit organizations. By donating products, advertising and sponsorship for fundraisers, along with a percentage of retail sales, the company has provided support for women’s shelters, HIV/AIDS research, art programs, LGBT benefits, Breast Cancer awareness and more.
Good Vibrations said that now their customers can show their support for the victims of the Haiti earthquake and thousands of other disasters across the country each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund at Good Vibrations check-out counters and at goodvibes.com. The American Red Cross provides shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.
Good Vibrations’ COO Jackie Strano remarked, “For over three decades Good Vibrations has been giving back to the community and actively participated in various causes. Our GiVe campaign(s) are a way for us to formally mobilize our creativity, enthusiasm, and energies towards causes we believe in. We are proud to partner with the Red Cross during this time of crisis and help those in desperate need of relief.”
