Glory Stories, Carlos Batts Fundraiser is Nov. 30 in Hollywood

Creative artist and adult director Carlos Batts may no longer be with us, but his name will not soon be forgotten.

"We recently lost a dear friend, a great artist, and a very special person within the community: the wonderful and talented Carlos Batts," said Patrick Ian Moore, coordinator of Glory Stories, a comedy show and fundraiser for the Carlos Batts memorial fund which will feature readings and monologues by, among others, Nina Hartley and Justine Joli. "His widow, April Flores, has been performing with Glory Stories since our first show and their support, friendship, and creativity has meant the world to us. Now we'd like to use the healing power of laughter to give back some of the love and kindness we've been shown."

Glory Stories is the kinkalicious improvised comedy show inspired by the raw and brutally honest monologues and interviews provided by our special guest storytellers, all of whom are Los Angeles-based professionals working in the adult entertainment, fetish, and kink industry. Join an eclectic blend of Hollywood's bravest and sexiest improvisers and see your hottest fantasies come hilariously to life right on the stage!

On Saturday, November 30, at 11:30 PM, Moore, Flores and their guests will be doing a very special fundraising performance of Glory Stories at the iO West Comedy Theater, 6366 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood. Admission to the show will be free, but they'll be holding a raffle with prizes that will include a special gift bag being donated by the lovely and generous Mika Tan—and all the proceeds will go to help April Flores with medical and funeral expenses.  Joining April and the cast of Glory Stories will be the legendarily sexy Nina Hartley, and the gorgeously geeky Justine Joli. Also appearing will be Dave Park, Sean Cowhig, Brandon Barrick, Tommy Bechtold, Jeff Thompson, Stacy Rumaker, Rebecca Stevens, Blake Hogue and Neil Garguilo.

In addition to the raffle and comedy show, there will be a full bar featuring great drink specials and some very fun give-aways and gifts. It should be a fun time for all

The iO West Comedy Theater is located at 6366 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles 90028. Valet parking is $5 with validation.
