NEW YORK - The New York Post reports that Joe Francis is about to launch a 'Girls Gone Wild' magazine.
Nobody's quite sure how the static pages of a magazine can truly capture the charm of an inebriated coed shouting "woo-hoo" while she struggles with the intricacies of the straps on her bikini top while simultaneously trying to dance in stripper heels. Still, Francis has a knack for producing gold.
Magazine sales have been soft since the rise of the Internet, but Francis has always seemed like a man with a plan.
'Girls' founder Joe Francis has been experiencing a rough patch over the last two years and is currently wasting away in a state-run stony cell in Nevada on charges of tax evasion. Ironically, the Post notes, the new 'Girls Gone Wild' magazine will launch on April 15, tax day.
