RESEDA, Calif.—The debut edition of Girlfriends Films’ new series, Lesbian Storytime Theater, streets tomorrow. Popular Girlfriends Films performer Elexis Monroe and camera operator Candi-Girl conceived the erotic series.
In Lesbian Storytime Theater, narrator Veronica Hart reads from a book containing journal entries by lesbians throughout time. Their erotic liaisons come to life on screen, filled with plots of lust, infidelity, blackmail, seduction, deception, drama and devious, twisted sexual encounters.

Monroe and Candi-Girl credit partial inspiration for the series to productions such as Disney’s Sunday night movies, as well as The Red Shoe Diaries.
“I thought it would be fascinating to take the inspiration and turn it into a lesbian concept,” Monroe said. “An adult book, filled with tales of love and sex thought the years of time … no boundaries, no themes, no expectations. We’ve created a world where anything can happen when it comes to women.”
In the first volume, Hart reads the stories of lesbian couples and their desires to be together. The movie includes four tales: Veronica Avluv pining for her brother’s wife, Deauxma; Zoey Holloway massaging her client, Brandi Love, to orgasm; Elexis Monroe and Amber Chase escalating their relationship from friends to lovers; and Elle Alexandra seducing her sister’s girlfriend, Shyla Jennings.
“Elexis and Candi-Girl presented us with a fun and sexy concept we knew consumers would love,” Girlfriends Films vice president Moose said. “It was an easy decision to green-light the project, and the results are fantastic. The first volume of Lesbian Storytime Theater will enchant fans, and we expect it to sell extremely well.”
Shot in high definition with Sony XDCAM cameras, the DVD includes hardcore and glamour photo galleries, plus trailers to Girlfriends Films movies. The movie is presented in 16:9 widescreen format.
