VAN NUYS, Calif. - Digital Plaground has reported record-high, out-the-door sales figures for DVD and Blu-ray editions of Robby D's new movie Cheerleaders.
Digital Playground president Samantha Lewis said, "Cheerleaders has already outsold Babysitters five-to-one on street date and I know the reorders will be phenomenal. The distributor and consumer response is simply staggering."
Company founder Joone agreed, "[Director] Robby D. has found a clever niche and is coupling this with our amazing roster of talent. The results are impressive."
Echoing the effusive praise, GameLink.com's director of business development, Jeff Dillon, commented, "Pre-orders on Cheerleaders exceeded what most titles sell once they are released; it's already on the best seller list and I expect it will remain there until Pirates II knocks it off."
Also on board the Cheerleader trolley is Premiere Sales Group manager, Drew Kennedy who said, "We are moving through Cheerleaders as fast as we can stock it. That's what happens when you couple a Digital Playground title with an outstanding cast. Each of their contract stars alone outsells most every other girl in the industry."
Brian Sokel, director of marketing for TLAraw.com was not to be outdone on the praise-o-meter said, "Cheerleaders is one of the best titles so far this year. The cast is beyond words and the DVD is going to kill with our customers."
Cheerleaders stars Jesse Jane, Shay Jordan, Sophia Santi, Adrianna Lynn and Stoya along with Memphis Monroe, Shawna Lenee, Alexis Texas, Camryn Kiss, Brianna Love, Lexxi Tyler and Priya Rai.
