According to the New York Daily News, Marylin Star's relationship with Michael Gilley has Gilley's mother asking questions. "Marriage plans were in the offing, but now I don't know how this will turn out," said Gilley's mother who asked that her name not be used. Star has been spotted hiding out in Gilley's Vancouver penthouse and Gilley's mother said the couple's romance has appeared strong in the past several months.
"They've been happy," she said. "I'm presuming they'd settle down and have a family."The mother said she does not pass judgment on her would-be daughter-in-law's past life.
"A person can do some wrong, but a person can always turn their life around," she said. Meanwhile, Star is nearing a decision on how to handle the federal warrant against her, friend Marc Medoff of the Manhattan-based Adult Press Service.
"She's gathering her strength, coming back from the initial shock and taking charge," said Medoff, who said he has spoken on the phone with Star several times a day. "She's saying, 'I didn't do anything wrong, and I can fight this.'"
