German Soccer Players Win Sex Toy Lawsuit

Europe's largest chain of sex shops, Beate Uhse, has been ordered to pay German soccer stars Michael Ballack and Oliver Kahn $67,380 (U.S.) each for using the players' names on vibrators without permission, the company reported on Monday.

Ballack and Kahn sued Beate Uhse for marketing the sex toys, dubbed "Michael B." and "Olli K.," before Germany hosted the World Cup in 2006.

"The products have been withdrawn," a Beate Uhse spokeswoman told Reuters. "We have to pay 50,000 euros to each of them."

Although the last names of the two German soccer players were not used, continued the report, it was clear they referred to Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn.
