Rob Black is handing over the reigns of his distribution to Genuine Sin, the new distribution company set up by industry sales vet Dave Gallegos.
Black decided to turn over distribution of his product so that he could concentrate all of his time and energy on his new projects. “I’m done playing around. No more wrestling, no more side projects, it’s time to return to my roots.” said Black. “When the opportunity to have my releases distributed for me came along I actually had to stop and think. The old Rob Black who had to control every aspect of everything would never have gone for it, but I am so excited to be shooting again, I just want to focus on my new productions.”
Genuine Sin owner Dave Gallegos, who serves as the national sales manager for Evolution Erotica, the adult studio owned by former Extreme Associates partner Tom Byron, came up with the idea while hearing Black talk about his ideas for his new releases and his huge library of titles not yet released on DVD.
“While selling for Tom Byron at Evolution, I had the chance to meet Rob,” Gallegos said. “Over the past six months as we have talked off and on and I knew he wanted to get out of the distribution end of things and I had been talking to a few other people about distributing their titles through my Genuine Sin company and it only seemed natural."
Extreme Associates will begin releasing 4 DVDs a week with the first four Cocksmokers 29, Cocksmokers 40, Fuck Pigs 4, and Smoke and Mirrors being released on Thursday, January 15.
Black’s first new simultaneous VHS and DVD release Oral Hygiene, a multiple blow job with mandatory swallowing line will hit the streets in February.
