The play opens Feb. 11 and runs Thursday-Sundays through March 19 at the Theatre of Note on Cahuenga Blvd. Lloyd will play a sleeping Adonis admired by two burglars who break into his home but get captured by his form as he sleeps.

The Apprentice is part of an evening of five one-act plays written by Dennis Miles under the collective rubric For the Curious. Lloyd follows in the footsteps of Jeff Stryker, Ryan Idol, Rex Chandler and J.T. Sloan as actors who have made the leap from gay porn on camera to the live stage.

Lloyd, who describes himself primarily as a musician and actor, is a GayVN Award nominee for Best Actor (for Endless Pursuit), Best Supporting Actor (for Animus, whose star Blake Harper is also up for Best Actor), and Gay Performer of the Year. Some of his other gay porn video credits include Redwood-Escape to Fern Falls (nominated for, among others, Best All-Sex Video), Fallen Angel II, and Hard Working Man.
