Starlet Dana DeArmond will sign at adult DVD retailer Galleri (168 Beacon St.) in South San Francisco on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. DeArmond stars in several recent releases from Vivid Alt, including Girls Lie and the recently unveiled Dana DeArmond Does the Internet.
"Since Dana really got her start on the internet, this will be a great opportunity to bring those internet people out to the brick and mortar stores," Vivid Alt head, Eon McKai, told AVN.com. "Doing signings like this are going to be one of our things this year, as a company; getting out there into the stores and doing these events in our own way."
"Galleri is a great location for us," added McKai, "because it's a high-end store with some mom and pop roots. It's still family owned, which is great."
As a bonus, Galleri will be making the event interactive by letting the fans play DJ. Fans can send in their favorite music/mix CDs and they'll be played at Galleri's signing event. [Send CDs to Galleri, 168 Beacon St, Bldg B, South San Francisco, CA 94080].
McKai said that they will also be bringing along customized Vivid Alt displays, created by their graphic designer, Alaska.
The signing will be followed by a party at Beauty Bar (2299 Mission St.) in San Francisco, starting at 9 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to take their own pictures of DeArmond at the Galleri store signing event and the after-party and get them posted on Galleri's event page, by sending pics to [email protected].
McKai said that people will want to arrive at the party early, as it is sure to fill up quick.
