Adult one-stopGeneral Video of America West (GVA) announced today they are changing their name to The Adult Supersource.
"As time has gone on, we've expanded" general manager Bob Wolf told AVN.com. "General Video has been around for many years as have the other wholesale companies we have, such as Profit Pack, but as time has gone on we opened up a novelty company, Erotech, a management firm, a magazine distribution company, and more, so we felt it would be prudent to go ahead and bring everybody under one banner. We are a one-stop; we service customers with virtually anything and everything they could possibly want, so why not just bring it under one banner?"
"We're trying to change people's mindset and get customers, as well as employees, to understand, we are a one-stop. For so many years, people focused on General Video, which is without a doubt the most prominent name we have in terms of our wholesale distributorship, but it's not the most important one. There is no single most important company anymore. We don't rely just on General Video. The novelties, the magazines are a vital part of what we do, so there is a true effort to get people to understand that, and the name change was part of that. We're vertically integrated, and we have lots of practice at it."
