GUILTY PLEA FOR MANSION MADAM

She ran a brothel in her suburban mansion and pleaded guilty Monday to charging men $200 an hour for sex while her fiancé stood guard for the operation.

Judith Kelly Dempsey pleaded guilty to prostitution and violating her May probation for running Afternoon Delight, a prostitution service out of her mansion that catered to well-off businessmen from nearby office parks, the Associated Press says.

Prosecutor's say she had kept a $200 an hour prostitution date at a Howard Johnson's motel while her fiancé, Edwin Accini, served lookout outside the room. Her attorney, Michael Ascher, says it was in her best interest to plead guilty.

Dempsey says she turned to prostitution to help Accini pay legal fees in a custody battle with his former wife over their daughter. Dempsey faces up to three years in prison when sentenced Nov. 12.
