Full Slate of Leading Edge Seminars at Internext Expo

Internext Expo show management announced today their comprehensive seminar series for the Vegas show.  The show is scheduled from January 5 – 7, 2004 and is again at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“We’ve really focused our attention on educating the industry, which is why we have more hands-on tutorials this year,” said Renee Johnson, Show Manager for Internext. “Of course, we still have our reoccurring seminars about marketing, billing, and legal issues, to bring the industry up to speed on those topics as well.”

A New Breed of Newbie - 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The New Newbie has made a lateral move from the mainstream into adult, often at a higher echelon than in the past. This panel will help acclimate the New Breed of Newbie. 

PHP 5 Tutorial - 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

This session will provide an overview of what PHP is and why it is so appropriate for adult Websites.  PHP is the most popular programming language for Web development worldwide, and is by far the most popular language in the adult industry.

How DRM Will Save You - 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Consider this the Digital Rights Management Education Seminar. Its purpose will be to help the adult online professional understand why DRM is essential to his/her future.

Search Engine Optimization - 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

If you think you know all there is to know about squeezing the best and most traffic from the search engines, think again. Big changes are in the works at Google, Yahoo and others. If you’re not up to date, it could spell the difference between success and failure.

The Lowdown on Patents - 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Working on the assumption that others will replicate Acacia’s tactics, the purpose of this seminar is to begin a discussion about how the adult online community can more effectively protect itself against questionable patents while embracing good ones.

This is a special session designed to provide attending adult online professionals with the knowledge they need to copyright their own online content without having to spend the time and money necessary to hire an attorney to do what they can do for themselves.

Legal Update - 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Four seasoned attorneys experienced in adult Internet law will provide updates regarding new legislation, recent prosecutions and other sundry topics and trends that will leave the audience better prepared to make the hard choices that could keep them in business-and out of jail and litigation. 

How to Shoot Great Video on a Shoestring - 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The last seminar of the show may well be the most fun, and useful!Join Colin Rowntreeand a couple of babesas they teach you how to shoot the best video for next to nothing.
