German-born Jean-marie Kesch has been in Southern California for a year, but has hit the ground running. His streaming content provider, Full On Video, launched February 1, brings a new way of delivering porn to the masses, no matter how big the masses' bandwidth.
"I see big potential in broadband, "Kesch told AVN.com, "(Massive content choices) was an idea to stand out from other companies."
Packing a terabyte of content featuring an expected 100 video feeds, Full On Video provides a variety of options to webmasters, allowing them to concentrate on making money rather than shooting porn themselves.
"Whatever you're looking for, we've got it," Kesch said. "Straight, Asian, Indian, Black, Interracial, Latin, Blowjobs, Fat, Teen, Mature, Cumshots, Anal, Cross dressing, Lesbian, Bondage, Tranny, Strange."
And what qualifies as "strange"?
"We've got everything," Kesch said.
As many companies learn the hard way, having content is only half the battle; delivering it can be daunting. Full On offers low, medium, and full broadband streaming choices, with the ability to jump from one part of the stream to the next without downloading the whole video (although that, too, is an option). If a surfer is unsure of his own bandwidth, speed detection can find the right pipe for him.
Full On Video has been in development for nine months, Kesch told AVN.com, and employed beta testers and user feedback before going live. "We haven't had too many conflicts," he said, "other than maybe some small problems getting Quicktime to run." Kesch employs customer service techs to iron out the bumps, "but you can't go live without testing extensively," he maintains.
Kesch employs up to ten people to run the service. "We needed to get the right people to get the idea realized," he told AVN.com, "and it's working very well."
