HOLLYWOOD — A virtual who's-who of porn movers and shakers gathered Friday at Kress nightclub on Hollywood Blvd. to regale in the festivities honoring the twin birthdays of Girlfriends Films director of sales Moose and AVN Editor-in-Chief Dan Miller. (photo gallery)
Toward evening's beginning, Erik Everhard — sporting a new bleach-blonde 'do — was found waiting patiently at the velvet rope, whose guardian at one point commented to him, "I wanna be Dan Miller ... he's got all these girls coming in here!"
And sure enough, just a few paces beyond the entrance and into the spacious club, girls to Everhard and co.'s eyes appeared. One of those girls, the always boisterous Tory Lane, made a point of announcing loudly to your arriving reporter her fervid desire to land a presenting spot at the next AVN Awards show in January. (Hey Gary Miller — Best Anal Scene, you think? She's pretty tailor-made for that one. ...)
Shortly thereafter, in strolled comeback queen Ann Marie Rios, who revealed that she, too, was celebrating a birthday, and in fact shared hers to the precise date with Miller (September 5). Another of adult's hottest Latina talents, Rebeca Linares, had a few words to offer about her own hopes for the upcoming AVNs, and how she may or may not steer her career depending on their outcome.
Jeff Mullen/Will Ryder was spotted chatting with Rios about casting her in one of his mega-successful Not the... movies — Love Boat, to be precise. "She's perfect for Captain Stubing," he joked afterward.
Attracting a lot of attention was brand-brand-new performer Victoria Lawson, recently signed to the roster of party co-sponsor It Models. Agency head T.J. DiReda was pulling duty monitoring VIP entrance, and fellow It girl (to Lawson and Linares) Charley Chase made the scene, as well.
Other industry notables in attendance included: Vince Vouyer, Jules Jordan, Jenna Haze, DCypher, Van Styles, Chris Streams, Eon McKai, Mr. Marcus, Shawna Lenee, Roy Karch, Erotique Entertainment's Eric John, Sophie Dee, Lee Bang, WantedList's Danny Ting, Chris Cannon, Master Dominic, Justice Young, Barrett Blade, Tee Reel, Shane's World Studios' Megan Stokes, Gary Gottlieb of Stilleto magazine, and AVN Media Network's own M.J. McMahon and Carlos Najar.
