Seattle native Zoë Wood has been working in the adult industry since right after the 2015 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo: “I started in January. I already knew I wanted to join the industry, but I was lucky to walk the red carpet [at the AVN Awards Show] and get the full experience. I was like, ‘Yes. This is where I belong.’ It was really fun.”
Wood moved to Las Vegas soon after that and has done “about 25” scenes. “My favorites are with Blacked and New Sensations, so far,” and she says her best scenes available right now are with Naughty America and Brazzers.
Before working in video she did webcamming and also amateur modeling (“I never got paid”) for high-fashion-style photographers. She says her favorite part of working in adult is “all the cool people I meet. They’re all open-minded individuals.”
She says, “I have had the honor to work with a lot of great male talent.” And she’s looking forward to doing more girl/girl scenes. “I haven’t done a lot of girl/girl work; I just did my first g/g/g scene with Adriana Chechik and Hope Howell. There are a lot of beautiful ladies in this industry that I’m excited to work with.”
Wood recently wrapped A Night at the Sex Museum for Smash Pictures (click here to watch a trailer). And she says, “I can’t wait to work for Kink. I really love The Upper Floor and the lighter stuff from them. It’ll be exciting to show that side of me.”Wood describes herself as a “horror movie fanatic and anime lover” and wants to write scripts and direct her own films. Her words to live by: “It’s all about the love, baby.”
