A transplant from back east (“It’s a good place to escape from”) by way of Phoenix, where she studied theater in college, Stevie Lix has landed in Porn Valley. But she calls Venice home, which befits a devotee of yoga and art.

Coming into the industry later than many performers, she started life on “the straight and narrow path,” working as a yoga instructor, among other things, in “the legitimate party of my life.” But she strayed onto a different, more interesting path.

“Everything has always led back to sex for me,” Lix said. “Even more so than just fucking, learning to use the sexual energy … some people call it sex magic. So I went from yoga into tantra into all this goddess worship and cock worship. … So on my own I just started this yoga triple-X character and just literally in the internet faceless nameless society found out there was a niche for this. And then I thought I should be doing porn.”

In February 2015 she took her first step with a scene for the website Anilos.com, which focuses on the beauty of women, as opposed to girls. “I’m a mature woman—I can have all these orgasms,” Lix said. “I like playing that up.”

But even more to her liking was her scene in the Devil’s Film title My Husband Brought Home His Mistress 7. “I loved because it was a ménage a trois,” Lix explained. “And this girl, Karlee Grey … she was fucking hot. Her whole purpose was to give a blowjob. I’ve never seen anyone give a more amazing blowjob. … Those are the great days. Wow, I get to have this much pleasure and record it and share it.”

Talking to Lix, it’s clear she defines herself primarily as an artist. Her theater arts background gives her a love of performing, and she self publishes art books and plays music. And through it all she draws on her fascination with yoga. When she studied to be an instructor, Lix recalled, “my teacher training kept turning into these lesbian orgies. I’ve written a script about that—yoga girls gone wild.”

She also stays active in the virtual world, on social media and her new site on the ModelCentro platform, StevieLixxx.com, and another at CallAGoddess.com.

“But my favorite thing I’ve done in the whole industry is the Vivid Radio thing,” Lix said. She first appeared on Fresh Meat Monday on Christy Canyon’s show. “They trained me on how to host a radio show. … I hosted my own thing on Vivid Virgins.” And in the same vein she’s looking forward to serving as a remote anchor for the site NakedNews.com.

In addition to art, Lix is also very focused on spirituality. “Pussy is my religion. This goes back to 7,000 years ago—the sex temples, right? You’ve probably seen some mention of it. So what’s the difference between a sex temple and the internet?”

To Lix’s mind, not much difference. Nowadays the internet is where you’ll find the seeker, she asserted. “They’re not walking into this sanctimonious place; they’re online. And I think Google is the messiah.”
