Freedom Distribution acquired the rights to now 177 titles produced by the now defunct adult studio Moonlight Entertainment nearly a month ago, and are now ready to release those titles as VHS tapes, with DVD versions of the titles to be created at a rate of five a month.
"Moonlight only used the top talent through the whole period of time they were in business, They have early Asia Carrerra, early Syndee Steele, Nina Hartley, and other top names," Freedom Distribution president Paul Interlandi told AVN.com. "We're already selling thousands of pieces and we've only been doing it a week."
107 of the titles are features, such as A Blaze of Glory, which featured Roxanne Blaze, Crystal Wilder, and Steven St. Croix in a performance that won an AVN Award for Best Group Sex Scene in 1993. Other features include the popular Shameless Lady and the musical My Bare Lady.
The other seventy titles in the Moonlight collection are series, including Radical Affairs series which in 1994 won the AVN Award for Best Gonzo Series and other notable such as the Sex Trek series and theAssmania Interlandi intends to offer the Moonlight collection via VOD, encoded in a Windows Media format.
