Free Speech Coalition Schedules Membership Meeting for Internext

A membership meeting has been scheduled by the Free Speech Coalition to coincide with the three-day Internext convention taking place this weekend in Hollywood, Florida.

Scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 6 at 10 a.m. in the ballroom where the convention’s seminars are being held, the meeting is said to be meant to update members on the situation with the current 2257 lawsuit, as well as to brief them on “other FSC news and information of interest to Internext attendees and exhibitors.”

It will also be an opportunity for those who have recently joined the FSC to clear up any confusion regarding FSC membership. According to the press release issued by FSC communications director Tom Hymes, members who may not yet have received their membership confirmation or whose credit cards have not yet been charged are encouraged to show up. Coalition staff will be available at the FSC booth following the meeting to deal with those who are not able to attend the meeting.

Says Hymes, “We thank all of our old and new members for continuing to support the Free Speech Coalition as it continues to fight to protect your right to do lawful adult entertainment business in this great country.”
