LOS ANGELES—It was just a few days ago that former WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Lynn Sytch, known in the wrestling world as "Sunny," posted the following to her Facebook page: "to all that this concerns... every person who posts nonsene on my wall about me doing porn videos for Vivid, or sends private messages about it, WILL be deleted and BLOCKES! No exceptions to the rule. thanks." [The spelling's all hers.]
But now, according to TMZ Sports, that denial is just so much hot air, and the lanky blonde has been in talks with Vivid honcho Steve Hirsch to star in not just another Vivid Celeb sex vid, but possibly to begin a career in adult.
"Vivid tells us the two sides have spoken several times and a 6-figure offer is on the table for Sunny to become a 'genuine porn star'—not just a 1-time sex tape thing," TMZ Sports reported, adding that Hirsch told the gossip site, "After the tremendous success of Chyna, this makes total sense. Hoping we can work it out."
Sytch has had a storied career as a "ring babe," fighter manager and media commentator, beginning in 1992 with Smoky Mountain Wrestling, and eventually moving into the big leagues with stints with the World Wrestling Federation, World Championship Wrestling and other leagues, going by various names including "Tammy Spirit," "Tammy Lynn Fytch" and "Tamara Murphy."
But in 2012, Sytch had some run-ins with law enforcement, having been arrested for disorderly conduct, third degree burglary, and three counts of violating a protective order, eventually leading to her spending 114 days in jail in 2013.
Sytch also has another interesting porn connection: She reportedly had a nine-month relationship with wrestler Shawn Michaels, for whom the WWE sent a cease-and-desist letter to adult actor Sean Michaels, asking adult's Michaels to relinquish his stage name, charging copyright infringement—despite the fact that adult's Michaels had been using the name for years before the wrestler appeared on the scene.
The 42-year-old Sytch also recently set up a GoFundMe campaign, reportedly to get money to defray medical expenses she'd accumulated for treatment of cervical cancer—and a contract with Vivid might go a long way toward helping with that.
In any case, TMZ is reporting, "We're told the deal is 'VERY close' to being done … and that Sunny is prepared to start shooting right away."
