When adult film legend and Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation founder Sharon Mitchell is inducted into the Hustler Hollywood Porn Walk of Fame with AVN Hall of Famer Jeff Stryker, they'll be inducted personally by Larry Flynt himself.
Calling her induction an honor, Mitchell said in a statement that Flynt and his family have been role models for her, "personally throughout my career and as supporters of the AIM Healthcare Foundation and our policies. This is a wonderful occasion for me, as it is a celebration of my 46th birthday and the end of a long-term goal - my graduation as a doctor."
Mitchell has completed her doctorate in human sexuality, following her master's in public health. She founded AIM in 1998, two years after earning her degree as a certified HIV and chemical dependency counselor, when an outbreak of HIV hit the adult entertainment industry.
Stryker, whose adult film career has run the straight, gay, and bisexual film table, has won several AVN Awards including Best Actor and Best Male Solo, in addition to his membership in the AVN Hall of Fame. Like Mitchell, Stryker called his Porn Walk of Fame induction an honor.
"I had told a few of my friends...that I would one day be in a Hustler magazine...they laughed and laughed," Stryker said in his own statement, "thinking I had no chance, just a kid dreaming. Well, I am honored to not only have graced the pages of several different Hustler magazine layouts, but to now permanently remain in front of Hustler Hollywood for the world to see."
The two will be inducted January 15 at 7 p.m. at Hustler Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard.
