Flynt Still Delivering to Congress

On the heels of a report by The Salt Lake Tribune that Hustler publisher Larry Flynt refuses to stop sending copies of his magazine to every member of Congress, the U.S. Senate Sergeant-at-Arms, Bill Pickle, sent a memo to members of Congress.

Sorry, Pickle wrote, he has to deliver the pornography.

“It is the policy of the Senate Post Office to deliver all mail to Senate addressees, regardless of content,” Pickle wrote. “We deliver what we receive as long as it is safe and the mailing envelope is non-threatening.”

Pickle added that, “As with any other piece of mail, your office may immediately discard or destroy any unwanted item.”
