Flynt Speaks to American Association of Editorial Cartoonists

Larry Flynt spoke to the American Association of Editorial Cartoonists at a conference at The Kentucky Theatre on Thursday.

Hustler magazine over the years has been known for biting editorial cartoons, and Flynt welcomed the opportunity to make some remarks about the importance of humor in society.

"I even made a prepared speech. All those guys have got a place in my heart," he told AVN.com.

Flynt even fielded questions from the audience, which was well aware of the HIV scare engulfing the adult industry in Los Angeles. One person asked him how safe it is to work in porn.

"I told him it was safer to get laid in the adult industry than any place in the country. This thing has been overblown and it will be under control very quickly," Flynt said.
