First Online Creative Erotic Writing Course Launched

Wade College of Creative Writing in Britain has launched what it calls the world's first online creative writing course focusing entirely on erotic fiction.

The Erotic Literature Creative Writing Course is aimed at men and women alike and includes ten lectures prepared by Mike Bailey and Mitzi Szereto online, plus one-to-one communication with several published erotica authors. And they're saying successful students will have at least one publishable piece of work when they finish the course.

Bailey's experience includes publishing and writing British erotica, founding Virgin's Nexus imprint and managing all Headline Erotic imprints until they pulled out of the genre in the 1990s. California-born Szereto is credited with pioneering the British erotic writing workshop and is a widely-known participant on the British interview circuit in broadcast and print.

“This course offers authors and aspiring authors everything they need to know to write erotic literature that sells” said managing director Justin Power announcing the course. “It offers a thorough grounding in writing erotica, writing techniques and – crucially – invaluable tips on marketing.”

"There is now a huge market for erotic fiction," said course coordinator Claire Hutchinson. "And this course includes step-by-step instructions on how to tap into it."

All students who take the course are eligible for an exclusive writing competition the top prize of which is getting their work published by Wentworth Publishing and winning £1,000 ($1,776.28). The course usually costs £133.50 ($237.13) but it's going £89 ($158.09) under a special launch offer. And it comes with a complete money-back guarantee.
