CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Following up the AVN award-winning success of his smash hit Babysitters, writer/director/shooter Robby D. takes a page from iconic adult classic Debbie Does Dallas with Cheerleaders, Digital Playground's banner release of the season.
Starring nearly all of DP's contract performers — save Katsuni and new girls Gabriella Fox and Riley Steele, but including the now-departed Sophia Santi and Adrianna Lynn (a.k.a. Adrenalynn) — Cheerleaders revolves around the whole gaggle of them, plus Brianna Love, Memphis Monroe, Shawna Lenee, Alexis Texas, Camryn Kiss, Lexxi Tyler and Priya Rai, engaging in a spirited round of "Truth or Dare" in the cheerleaders' locker room.
As they challenge one another, it comes out that Jesse Jane once fucked Memphis Monroe's boyfriend, and so did Brianna Love and Stoya. In fact, they all have. Perhaps because Memphis Monroe's boyfriend is Manuel Ferrara, and let's face it, the ladies dig Manuel.
Is Memphis bothered by this? No, not really, because as comes to light about her, she's been shooting porn behind Manuel's back. And since the gals all agree that the scene Jesse found online with Memphis — a threeway between herself, Erik Everhard and Mick Blue — is actually pretty hot, they kiss and make up ... the whole group of them. In fact, maybe kiss and make out would be a better way of putting it.
Yes, the highly anticipated all-girl orgy of Cheerleaders serves fittingly as its finale and signature scene, but there's plenty more to crow about here. Of particular note are the Stoya/Brianna/Manuel threeway; yet another threeway with Adrianna, Shawna Lenee and Johnny Sins; and a detention hall group scene with Shay, Sins, Alexis Texas, Camryn Kiss, James Deen and Tommy Gunn.
Cheerleaders is enough of an epic to be spread out over two discs, and it includes a classic behind the scenes featurette in which, among many other great tidbits, there's a note that appears onscreen reading: "Dear Canada, Thanks for Sophia Santi. We forgive you for Celine Dion."
Cheerleaders releases this Friday, April 4, on standard DVD and Blu-ray. To see the trailer, click here.
