Fans Cast Alongside Aiden Shaw in Hot House's The Perfect Fit

In a timely display of the ongoing influence of the Internet, San Francisco adult gay video company Hot House Entertainment is about to film their latest adult feature, The Perfect Fit, which unites porn legend Aiden Shaw with several fresh faces, most of whom were picked as the result of an Internet-based contest.

According to the studio's publicity director Michael Roma, Hot House received over 700 emails from the ads, which were placed on sex sites like BigMuscle.com and Manhunt.net. "We were overwhelmed by the response," he said, pointing to Shaw's visibility in the industry as a key factor in the contest's success. "People know and recognize Aiden Shaw, and we had them write in and tell us why they would be his perfect fit. We don't know if we would get the same kind of response from a more general call."

The movie is scheduled to shoot next week at Hot House's studios in San Francisco, and will be Shaw's first appearance with the company since 1997's Descent, which has gone on to become one of the best-selling gay adult titles of all-time. A recent reissue of the film garnered even more big sales.

According to director Steven Scarborough, The Perfect Fit will be somewhat of a romantic feature about a restlessly single gay man in his '40s (Shaw) who has tired of promiscuity and yearns for something more. Through a series of encounters, he eventually happens across someone that he feels he might be able to settle down with. "It's about self-examination at that midlife point," Scarborough notes.

Though he would not give away too much about the other models in the movie, he did say that new Hot House exclusive Dick Wolfe factors heavily into the story. "He kind of anchors the movie," Scarborough noted. About the three new models, Scarborough would only say, "I think the audience has a big surprise in store for them. Aiden trusts me to find him good scene partners. It's not just about looks; there has to be a certain chemistry going on."

Scarborough, who also directed Descent, had much more to say about his star. "I'm thrilled to be working with Aiden again," he said. "He's extremely confident, and he's consummately sexual," he says, "but he's a little disinterested in all that attention. He's got his own thing going on."
