Falcon Announces Signing of Show Biz Veteran Gus Mattox to Exclusive Deal

The Falcon Studios family just got one member stronger. The high-profile gay adult entertainment company announced last week that it had signed newcomer Gus Mattox, an established composer, actor, and writer who has worked in film, television, and stage, to an exclusive deal to perform in several upcoming Falcon movies.

“We’re very happy to have Gus in the Falcon family,” said Falcon Director of Development and Production Mike Youens. “The masculinity and virility that he serves is by far one of the best dishes we’ve had on our buffet in a long time.”

Mattox, whose most recent stage credits include touring productions of 42nd Street and Cabaret, as well as a brief Broadway stint in the latter, started out as an actor and composer on the off-off Broadway scene in the East Village. He eventually moved into composing for other venues, including film and television, with credits ranging from Charles Busch’s off-Broadway hit Vampire Lesbians of Sodom to TV’s Sesame Street

Mattox was recently seen on the cover of Jeff Palmer’s 2003 Men calendar, as well as in Tom Bianchi’s On the Couch book, and made his porn debut in Chi Chi LaRue’s recently released What Men Do. His first movie for Falcon, The Recruits (FVP154), is due out in June.

"I'm still a little overwhelmed at being asked to be an exclusive,” Mattox told AVN.com. “I feel like I hit a home run right out of the box. I know that I, personally, and the folks at Falcon are going to be very happy and satisfied with this arrangement. My agreement with them offers me lots of opportunity to bring into play the experience I have working in mainstream showbiz, and I'm anxious to see what we can pull off together.”
