FSC Completes Processing of Rush Applicants

The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has announced that all individuals and companies that signed up to become members of the trade organization during the late-June membership rush have been processed, and should have received notification by either letter or email of current membership status.

If any individual or company applied for FSC membership before September 1, 2005, and has not yet been charged or received notification of membership status, they should contact the FSC office immediately by calling Darmae at 866-372-9373, or by sending an email to [email protected]. Please include company name and a contact name and telephone number, and someone from the office will be in touch to resolve the situation. If an application was submitted after September 1, it is being processed, and an email or letter notification of membership status will be sent out within a few weeks.

Membership status is also available online in the members section of our website, at www.freespeechcoalition.com/member_resources/index.php, by logging on and going to My Account.

The FSC offered an apology for the amount of time it has taken to process, charge and notify everyone who signed up during the summer rush.

"We want to express our sincere thanks to the industry for its patience while we sorted out memberships, and for its continuing support during the ongoing challenge to the 2257 federal labeling laws," the FSC said in a press release.

There will be an FSC membership meeting on Thursday night at the Woodland Hills Marriott, starting at 5:30 p.m. Attorney Michael Fattorosi will discuss workers’ compensation issues, and FSC Board Chair Jeffrey Douglas will discuss 2257.

There will also be a membership meeting held in Las Vegas on Oct. 10, at the Lambada Room at the Rio. Time and topic details will be made available soon.
