FSC Announces New Board Members

The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has announced its new board of leaders, as elected through its membership meeting in Las Vegas last week. FSC Executive Director Diane Duke announced the result of board elections for 2007.  Elected for two-year terms to the Free Speech Coalition Board of Directors are:

Jeffrey J. Douglas. Santa Monica, Calif.: First Amendment Lawyer, current Chair of the Board, FSC. 

Mara Epstein; XBiz Magazine and MG Media, current FSC Board Member. 

Mark Kernes; Senior Editor, Adult Video News (AVN), current FSC Board Member.

Reed Lee; Attorney-at-Law, J. D. Obenberger and Associates, current FSC Board Member.

Lynn Swanson; Former General Manager of M&M Sales, replacing Nick Boyias.

Tim Valenti; President and CEO, NakedSword / Cubik Media, current FSC Board Member.

 

The following members have been elected by the Board for leadership positions:

Board President - Jim Everett; Chief Operating Officer, Lion's Den.

Board Chair - Jeffrey J. Douglas; First Amendment Lawyer, current Chair of the Board, FSC.

Board Secretary - Mark Kernes; Senior Editor, Adult Video News (AVN), current FSC Board Member.

Board Treasurer – William Murphy; President, Fairvilla Megastores.

The FSC's mission is to safeguard the industry from oppressive governmental regulation and to promote good business practices within the industry.
