FOXE Awards Set for Feb. 19

The 15th annual Fans of X-Rated Entertainment Awards (FOXE) is set to be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, at the Mayflower Ballroom in Los Angeles.

The event is open to the industry and fans alike (though there is a fee for fans). The FOXE Awards are decided entirely by fans, and as event organizer and founder of non-profit organization P.A.W. (Protecting Adult Welfare) Bill Margold points out, “you can’t tell the fans how to vote.”

The evening will consist of five awards: Female Fan Favorite (which Jesse Jane has already won), Male Fan Favorite, a Vixen Award and two awards given out to male and female talent that have won three past awards, and subsequently, are now ineligible. This year, Lexington Steele and Tera Patrick will be “retired.” Previously retired performers have included Nina Hartley and Jill Kelly.

Additionally, there will be an honorary “broast” (tribute) for Christy Canyon, during which friends will take the microphone and pay tribute to the legendary starlet. Of the “broast,” Margold said that “Ron Jeremy is writing a poem, as we speak.”

All proceeds, after expenses, will go to P.A.W.
