HOLLYWOOD — The 17th annual Fans of X-Rated Entertainment (FOXE) awards show will take place Sunday, June 8 at the legendary Whisky a Go-Go on the Sunset Strip.
Begun in 1991 by William Margold, industry veteran and head of outreach foundation Protecting Adult Welfare (PAW), FOXE was the first awards ceremony to give fans a voice in recognizing their favorite performers in adult movies.
This year's awards will feature an opening appearance by Sunny Lane and a "broasting" of Ginger Lynn. FOXE will donate a portion of its profits to go toward helping AVN Hall of Fame director Henri Pachard and his family in the battle he's currently waging against cancer.
In addition, Margold has pledged proceeds from his PAW booth at next month's Erotica LA to help Pachard.
The 2008 FOXE Awards are open, as always, to adult talent free of charge. Fans must purchase tickets to the event, which they can do by contacting Margold at [email protected] or (818) 501-6139. The Whisky a Go-Go is located at 8901 Sunset Blvd.
