FORGOT YOUR PILL?

Maybe more than 15 million women prefer birth control pills for contraception, but the same studies show over half of them forget to take them once in awhile, according to News/Broadcast Network.

Enter Organon. They have brought out a new electronic card with a microchip timer to help women remember to take their pill. The card isn't any bigger than a typical credit card - but it has a beeper which rings at the same time every day over three months, telling a lady to stay on schedule.

Many researchers say it takes about three months for a habit to become ingrained anyway, News/Broadcast Network says.

The reminder card is available for free through health care providers with a new prescription for Mircette oral contraceptives, beginning 1 September.
