FLYNT MAKES PLEA IN CINCINNATI SEX BIZ CASE

Larry Flynt might have promised a fight of it after the Hustler News & Gifts adult store was raided two years ago, but the fight has ended - Flynt's corporation has submitted an Alford plea to charges of running a sex-oriented business in Cincinnati.

The plea doesn't mean the Hustler publisher admits guilt, but it does mean he acknowledges enough evidence to lead to a conviction, says the Cincinnati Post. Flynt's corporation has been ordered to pay a $1,500 fine.

Flynt attorney H. Louis Sirkin told the paper it wasn't worth it to let the case go to trial or even plead no contest. Flynt is now trying to open a store in nearby Butler County.
