FILMCO'S "PLATINUM LINE" COMING

Top adult video director Stuart Canterbury has signed a six-video-a-year deal with Filmco Productions in what Filmco is calling "a new platinum line of adult feature product." The first release is due in November.

The series will be called Filmco 2000, with features produced on location in "exotic settings all over the world, with major stars and high-end production value," the producer says.

The Clinic, starring Sydnee Steele and Melissa Hill, is scheduled for November release. Shot in Budapest, it presents an array of Hungarian beauties with the American performers.

"By shooting on distant locations around the world," Canterbury says, "we can get a lot more production value on the screen. At the same time, we can showcase new girls in feature roles…We have storylines perfect for cable and no-holds-barred hardcore sex in the video releases, with European talent accustomed to pushing the envelope."

A second feature in the new series deal, with the tentative title The Blue Danube has gone into post production, Filmco says. One highlight: a commercial scene on a boat cruising the river "in full sight of any onlooker," the producer says.

"This," Canterbury says of the scene, "is probably not something I would have been able to shoot in America."
