FICEB Moves to Madrid for 16th Edition

MADRID — The Festival Internacional de Cine Erótico de Barcelona (FICEB) has moved to Madrid for its 16th annual fest, scheduled to take place June 26-28, 2008 at Fabrik.

According to festival organizers, Madrid has become the hub of Spain's adult industry. An estimated 150 adult craftsmen and 60 companies will gather at the upcoming festival to celebrate the best in Spanish and international erotica.

The festival will be divided up into four main areas: The Hard Zone, the Party Zone, the Artist Zone and the Commercial Area. The event culminates in the 16th annual Ninfa Awards.

Some of this year's special FICEB attractions include a tribute to Tera Patrick, a retrospective of the best Spanish adult productions of the '80s, an educational area with hardcore performances and instruction on all the aspects of producing adult movies and an exhibition of photos from the festival's first 15 years.

Director Max Cortes will serve as the official spokesperson for FICEB 2008. Other adult personalities slated to appear at FICEB 2008 include Patrick, Angel Dark, Silvia Saint, Katsuni, Melissa Lauren, Rita Faltoyano, Belladonna, Annette Schwarz, Lanny Barby, Rebeca Linares, Sasha Grey, Savanna Samson, Tera Bond, Steve Holmes and Nacho Vidal.

Among the companies confirmed to exhibit are IFG, Negro y Azul, X Canal, Ruta 69, X Films, Zona 8, Vendiocio, Stars & Stamps, Woodman Entertainment, Kemaco y Masimo, Sexigames, AZ Interactive and Marqueze.
