LOS ANGELES, Calif.—In addition to the grueling work of meeting the hottest stars in adult entertainment and reviewing the latest adult entertainment products, trade attendees at the 2010 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) will have the opportunity to attend seminars covering a wide breadth of adult industry issues and featuring some of the leading experts in adult entertainment, event organizers announced today.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn the latest techniques and strategies to build and keep a successful adult retail business, discuss the role of “women in the industry” with some of the most influential female figures in the business, and explore new legal developments with popular and respected veteran attorneys.
AEE is produced by Home Entertainment Events and the trade seminars are sponsored by Hottrix, the award-winning creators of best-selling apps such as iBeer (Best of iTunes 2008, 2009) and iMunchies. The Expo will take place at Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas on Thursday, January 7, through Sunday, January 10, 2010.

“Playthings: Trends and Marketing of Adult Toys & Novelties”
Thursday, January 7, 4-5:30 p.m.
Adult toy and novelty producers continue to adopt the latest trends and technologies, from programmable vibrators and eco-friendly materials to high-end designer items, and they are expanding their consumer base. This session will examine how to evaluate products and their consumer appeal and how to entice each customer with the right items. Carol Queen with Good Vibrations, U.K.-based LoveHoney, and others will talk with journalist Regina Lynn.
“Power & Influence—The Growing Force of Women in Adult Entertainment”

Engage in a study of the influential women in the industry who—working behind the camera, the counter and the executive desk—continue to expand their reach and power in adult entertainment. This all-female panel will discuss what drives and influences the female market and how to broaden this desirable customer segment.
