Executive Suite: Andy Alvarez

The E. Suite team of editors, researchers, and all around go-getters drops by Andy Alvarez’s plush workspace to get the lowdown on Webmaster Central and other executive-ish insight.

Tripp Daniels: Regarding the type of business/consumer model at WC, what's the key(s) to success in your sector of the adult market?

Andy Alvarez: Asking webmasters which type of movies they need and giving it to them. The important thing is that you’re using the largest and clearest format available with the highest quality movies you can find.

Is there a CEO at a mainstream, or adult, company that you admire for his or her business insight or what the person has achieved?

I'd have to say the usual suspects: LA Mike, Marc De, Ron Levi, Holio, Dave, the guys at Epoch, CCBill, Electracash, etc. … There are too many people to name, really. I admire anyone that has had that level of success in this business without resorting to illegal business practices.

What's the latest news at Webmaster Central?

This has been a very exciting month at Webmaster Central. We have finally released our series of Elite feeds, which are basically the next level of webmaster content. This new Elite series is in five very hard to find categories; Indian, BBW, Latin, Bi-Sexual, Foot, and Gay. The feeds themselves are streamed in the largest format you can find anywhere. I'm really proud of them, and the webmasters that have begun using them are extremely happy with the response.

We're also dedicating a lot of time and energy to our gay sections. We're releasing about 30 new feeds to our gay and bisexual webmasters. I believe the gay and bisexual market is a huge and a mostly untapped market and is going to grow exponentially for years to come.

Looking back to when you started in this business, is there anything you would have done differently?

Absolutely. When I first started in this business I tried to do everything;click-thru, spamming, content, billing, hosting, etc., and guess what? I ended up doing everything very half-assed. I finally decided to concentrate on one thing and doing it to the best of my abilities. I've been successful ever since.

Have any advice for future business leaders out there?

Sure. It's easy to make a little bit of money doing a few different things, but if you want to make a lot of money, concentrate on one area of the business and dedicate yourself to it.

If you were to one day be on the cover of Forbes what would you like the headline to read?

Billionaire dies in tragic orgy at age 100.
