Ex-SCORE Girl Crystal Gunns Resigns from Elementary School Job

VINELAND, N.J. -  Former SCORE model Crystal Gunns (a.k.a. Louisa Tuck) has resigned from her part-time job at a local elementary school in the wake of a scandal over her porn past.

Vineland Public Schools officials hired Tuck in June as a part-time cafeteria worker and playground aide at the D'Ippolito Elementary School. When her background as an adult video star came to the attention of local parents and school officials, the story blew up in the local press and made national headlines.

Superintendent Charles Ottinger was quick to emphasize that the school district did not demand Tuck's resignation. He added that Tuck could still change her mind before the Board of Education makes her resignation official on Jan. 21.

"We did not ask for this. We did not require it. We did not force it," Ottinger told the Vineland Daily Journal

Tuck remains employed at the Vineland YMCA, where she works with children.

SCORE rep Elliot James defended Tuck's character and expressed confidence that the ex-porn star will rise above the setback.

"All of us at The SCORE Group know Crystal Gunns to be one of the kindest, nicest and most good-hearted women we've met in our 16-year history, " James told AVN. "For honesty, professionalism, decency and integrity, you can find no better. We know Crystal will successfully move forward in her life and put this situation behind her. We are proud to know her."
