BUDAPEST, Hungary—World renowned former adult star Rocco Siffredi has opened a school for porn stars, Siffredi Hard Academy, and the first class of the two-week course hopefully will graduate all of its 21 students (though that number is disputed in the press).
According to The Independent (UK), thousands of people applied to take the course, with Siffredi, a veteran of acting in nearly 600 movies and web scenes and directing over 300, most released through Evil Angel, helping to whittle that number down to the final group of contestants.
Yes, "contestants": These actors-in-training will have their classes (and possibly parts of their personal lives) recorded for a reality TV show based on the school.
"[H]e will carry out on-screen tests, including positions that will work against the camera, as well as recitation techniques in order to mould the 'believable' porn actors of tomorrow," The Independent reported.
Siffredi told the Italian media website Perfil.com that the classes and training will be unscripted, and that he will "strive to make the learning process as organic and authentic as possible."
The UK tabloid Daily Star, after describing Siffredi as a "sex addict," reported that his reason for retiring from adult performing was because of his wife, Rosa Caracciolo, whom he described as "the top priority."
"I know him very well and I love him for who and what he is," she told The Star. "Let’s see what the new version of him will be like."
