Ex-Playmate Gets $3 million for Colin Farrell Sex Tape

Former Playboy Playmate Nicole Narain has signed a deal with an Internet porn company that would pay her $3 million in an advance payment if she succeeds in her lawsuit against Colin Farrell who is attempting to stop her from marketing a sex tape the two made three years ago.

Arizona-based Internet Commerce Group or ICG, says the deal, as stipulated in an October 2005 option agreement, would allow the company to distribute the 15-minute video if Farrell loses his legal challenge to Narain’s claims to the tape.

Farrell said in his suit that the tape’s release would “irreparably harm” his reputation and career. The 29-year-old Irish actor claims he and Narain had an intimate relationship about three years ago when they made the tape and that they agreed to jointly own it.

He is seeking an unspecified amount of money for actual and punitive damages.

Farrell filed his suit last summer against the model and two porn companies after it was revealed that Narain had planned to peddle the tape to the highest bidder.

Sal Abbate, ICG’s chief executive, has said that Narain is within her rights to market or sell the tape.

According to ICG’s agreement with the 31-year-old ex-playmate, Narain is guaranteed $100,000 and would also receive payments of up to $60,000 for legal fees. The option deal gives Narain 60 percent of all net revenues generated by sales of the tape but it requires her to prevail in her lawsuit to retain legal rights to the video.
